Yesterday night, we visited Tim Horton’s Stadium, where we had Sigma FC and Scrosoppi FC opening their 2024 League1 Premier Seasons.
After a relatively slow first half with neither team breaking through, Ammari Faris broke through after tapping home an excellent cross to put Scrosoppi up 1-0. Then, shortly after, captain Tomasz Skublak made no mistake, putting away the rebound and putting his team up 2-0 in the 93rd, and bringing home the 3 points for his side. The League1 finalists from last season start the season off with a clean sheet and three points.
