Waterloo wins big in a crucial game against Unionville in League1 Championship

BVB IA Waterloo had an absolutely crucial match for their League1 season on Friday, as they hosted Unionville SC in their last home game of the season.

The Waterloo faithful came out in big numbers to support and it was definitely a great occasion for everyone involved. Unionville took the lead in the 22′ minute through Liam Batista before Logan Rieck equalizing by slotting the ball past the Unionville GK in the 25th minute to make it 1-1 early on. Shortly after, Logan Rieck would get his second of the game in the 40th  minute before scoring an absolute worldie in the 46th minute to get his hat trick nice and early and put Waterloo back up 3-1.

From there, Waterloo was in cruise control and it was Rieck again first assisting Mahmoud Alqahwaji who finished at the back post and again providing a second assist for Sam Barrowcliffe who scored in the 79th minute to cap off a fantastic performance for Waterloo, defeating an inform Unionville side and now heading into the last few games with a bit of breathing room.
